Do you know where it is?

A striker gets a cross he wasn't expecting. The ball lands at his feet. He shoots, he scores.

But there's something he didn't do.

Look at the goal.

He knew where it was.

Tennis players know where the net is. They don't watch it with every serve.

Pole vaulters know where the bar is. They're not looking at the bar. They're looking at the sky.

Do you know where your goal is?

Every time you wake up tired, do you have to remember your mission before you feel like doing the work?

Every time you scroll social media, do other people's wins change your plan?

Are you hoping for the big break that's going to change everything, or are you creating your own luck by showing up every day?

That footballer saw himself as a goal scorer. That's what he's on the planet to do. He knows his purpose. There's no need for a map.
