Friend sent me this:

The sooner you realise that your main job is getting downloads from the universe, the better.

I think she's right.

Customers are telling you what they want.

Your next move is obvious to everyone that knows you.

If you really listened to your heart, it would tell you exactly what to do.

But we don't clear the space to allow the information in. We're too busy being busy with whatever fights for our attention. We are not open to downloads from the universe.

So if you're not getting your downloads from the universe, where are you getting them from?

Because:

The news is just downloads of fear.

Things are terrible, prices are rising, everything is dangerous. Arrrgh.

Social media feeds are downloads of lack.

There's a problem, you have a problem, I had a problem. Arrrgh.

People complaining is downloads of scarcity.

I can't afford it, I'm too late, things aren't what they used to be. Arrrgh.

And they'll send you in the wrong direction. Towards making decisions that suit a lesser version of you. Playing small. Fitting in. Pleasing other people.

There's only one thing to listen to:

Your heart, your gut, your reasoned choice.

There's only one thing to consume:

Media that reminds you you have all the answers. You're not lacking anything. You're on your path. You can trust yourself.

Because you can.

Here are 5 questions I journal on often.

  1. What do I know now that I'll realise in six months?
  2. If my life is a movie, what is the audience screaming at me?
  3. How can I do less to make room for my highest potential?
  4. What do I think that I cannot possibly do?
  5. What if this were easy?

Answer the one you've been avoiding. There's your download.
